Welcome to the NIOC GA FRG! We invite you to attend our monthly meetings as they are fun, informative, as well as the perfect way to meet people and develop a solid supportive network. We love to meet new people and encourage you to get involved by calling or emailing us any time. We are always looking for new and creative people as well as anyone looking to volunteer. PRESIDENT

Hello everyone! My name is Lauren Updike and I am the new FRG President! I am originally from Illinois where my husband and I met in high school. We have been married for 10 years and have a 10 year old girl and an 8 year old boy.

VICE PRESIDENT / TREASURER

Hello my name is Kay Sacadura and I am the Vice President and Treasurer. I am from Virginia and have been married for about six years. We have a 14 year old daughter who lives in PA with her mother and a strapping 3 year old boy named Triston Oliver.

SECRETARY

Hi my name is Grace Barnes. I have been married to my husband Tyler for 2 years now. I was a Kindergarten teacher in Virginia for 5 years. While in California I worked at the Presidio of Monterey CDC in Fort Ord as the Training and Curriculum Specialist.

What we do

The purpose of this group shall be to enhance family readiness and enable the total Navy Family to meet mission and military family lifestyle challenges.
One primary purposes of the NIOC Georgia FRG is to provide support and assistance to the families of deployed NIOC Georgia service members.
The NIOC Georgia FRG will also place an emphasis on welcoming new families, and providing them with resources for their new duty station.
The NIOC Georgia FRG will support the men and women at NIOC Georgia, their families and loved ones, be a conduit for information concerning the Command, be a point of access to a network of support resources, and promote friendship and mutual support among the members.
