Mission Statement.

The purpose of this group shall be to plan, coordinate, and conduct social, informational, care-taking, and morale-building activities to enhance family readiness and enable the total Navy Family to meet mission and military family lifestyle challenges. One of the primary purposes of the NAVIOCOM Georgia FRG is to provide support and assistance to the families of deployed NAVIOCOM Georgia service members. The NAVIOCOM Georgia FRG will also place an emphasis on welcoming new families, and providing them with resources for their new duty station. The NAVIOCOM Georgia FRG will support the men and women at NAVIOCOM Georgia, their families and loved ones, be a conduit for information concerning the Command, be a point of access to a network of support resources, and promote friendship and mutual support among the members.
